Yamaha has added a new sportier bike in SZ series, the Yamaha SZ-R which is a 150cc bike. The SZ-R bike is available at the price of Rs/-63000. SZ-R’s peppy engine can produce a maximum poer of 12bhp@7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 12.8 @4500 rpm.

This new bike gets a front disk brake and a tank protector, the tank protector gives SZ-r a large bike look. SZ-R will be available three colors Black, red and blue. The expected mileage that Yamaha SZ-R will return is around 60-70 kmpl in mixed driving conditions.

Lijo`s new Yamaha R15

One more bike to enters to our friends circle this time its a new R15. Our own biker Lijo George who already owns pulsar 150 has bought this beauty. Almost every one was surprised when he bought the bike to show us. The bike is a beauty in yellow with white scoops. Since the bike is a small bike, the yellow color gives it a extra visibility in the road.

New Rx 100 4S to be launched.

Good news for the Rx 100 lovers, Yamaha is planning to relaunch its legendary model Rx 100 four stroke. Rx 100 was popular in the mid 80′s to mid 90′s among the youngsters. Known for its agility, acceleration and handling there is a speculation that the original body and designing will be maintained.

Because of the strict emission norms the old two stroke engine cannot be used, So they may have to design a new four stroke engine for it.

Even now Rx100 is considered special by its owners and is still scarce in the second hand market. The launch will shoot up the sales of Yamaha if it is placed in the entry level or commuter level segment. If the company manages to de what the Enfield have done with its classic model then the new rx100 will be a success.
