Lancer Evolution



Lancer evo is on its way, the company which had shown India a new model of luxury and performance is trying to regain their lost glory and market share. The price will  be around 30-35 lakhs. The price can be justified as the whole parts even the nuts and bolts are imported and assembled here. Even the old versions both petrol and diesel is still known as a performance car and is in high demand in the second cars market. New MIVEC petrol engine can go from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

At the heart of the lancer is a light weight aluminum 2.0 liter turbocharged Mitsubishi Innovation Value timing Electronic Controlled petrol engine. The engine can produce a mouthwatering 403 bhp and 387 lb ft of torque. The top end speed is 155 miles/hr and it can maintain that speed for a long time as the car is known for its higher stability and drivability. This engine has won many rallies for Mitsubishi for a long time now.

The higher end Evo X will be coming with all active wheel control, that  distributes torque according to different driving conditions. The gear box will be six speed which helps the car gain the high top end speed(for lancer reliant), a twin clutch will be part of the offering. Air bags and abs will be a basic feature of the car.
For effective braking we have disk brakes for all the wheels and for stability while braking we have highly stable ABS. Cruise control is a standard feature for the high-end model. The dimensions of the car are Length 4570mm, Width 1,760mm, Height 1,490mm, wheelbase 2,635mm, Kerb weight 1,320kg, Trunk Size 348 l, Fuel Tank Capacity 59 l, Gross Vehicle Weight Rating 1,850kg.
