Suzuki Cervo to be released in India

Cervo is maruti suzuki’s answer to tata’s nano. Powered by suzuki`s 660cc engine it will have a price tag of about 1.5 lakh. Cervo could be a perfect replacement for maruti 800 in the urban areas. It will be launched in India by the middle of 2010.

Though not officially announced the features of cervo are : 658 CC MPFI Petrol Engine, 3 Cylinder / 4 Valves per cylinder engine, Max Power 54 BHP @ 6500 rpm,front semi-bucket seats, Max Torque 64 Nm @ 3500 rpm, Length : 3395 mm ,K6A DOHC engine with VVT, bluetooth capability, Width : 1475 mm, Height : 1535 mm, Wheelbase : 2360 mm, Weight : 790 Kg, 13 Inches Wheels, 30 Litre Fuel Tank, 5 Speed Manual Transmission etc. The high end model may sport ABS, air bags and body coloured bumbers. The interiors of the car have loads of space, be it the head room, leg room or the boot space.Because of its compact design ans power steering driving in the cities would be easy.

From the looks aspect it looks like the younger brother of honda jazz. We will have to wait and see how this car turns out.
